ACK ST JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA CHOIR

Church choir

Started in 2004 by the help of REV. LYDIA MWANIKI who was the vicar by then.The choir had twenty members under the leadership of Mr.Alllan Njoroge.Through the help of Rev. Lydia they managed to do a fundraising and raised KSH 136,194.

They bought the following items; Conga drum, Base Guitar, The Organ, Lead Guitar, tambourine and small drum

They also have participated in various music festivals

  1. Archdeaconary Music festivals at ACK St Marks Westlands

    2. They were awarded:- Price in contemplorary music- Standing on the rock, Price in folk song- Ruoth Abiro Iri, Price in the set piece- Thine be the glory

  2. Diocesean music festivals at ACK St Stephens jogoo road

    3. they took three trophies back to the parish

    They launched there CD "IMANI KUBWA" on 31staugust 2008
